I have this wire coming off my transmission but its not connected and im not sure where it goes to?
NV3500 to NP241 t-case

is your truck a factory 5 speed or has someone converted it at some point it kinda looks like the wiring for a automatic its kinda hard to tell

Color of the wire insulation? It looks like the VSS plug. Does your speedo work?

I have a 98 with a 4l60e and there are like two plugs laying on top of my tranny and I have no idea what their function is

Factory 5speed. No cluster at all, that's what I was suspecting. Didn't see any open ports though?
