i just got this lwb single cab 88,,and i am thinking of getting a used topper,,any brands better than others??

Back in the day it was LEER or nothing, but plenty has changed since I lived up north where they were popular.

Took a quick look locally and $200 gets you a leaker here, anything less gets you something from the 80's and resembles a storage shed. 500-750 will cover the toyota-ranger size and any decent fullsize from the last 10 years run $1000+!!!

my pops bought a color matched leer with LED 3rd brake light, used, proper for a 99-06 (Slides right in, has lip on inside), $450.

They just aren't that popular around here. Every truck has a toolbox or a dogbox in the back, can't use a topper/camper with either of those.

Weird, We use alot of things around here, alot of old guys use "Canopy's" (Camper top, Camper Shell, Etc), but since we are a logging and mining town, alot of guys with Tidy Tanks, Tool Boxes, etc.
