1996 Yukon 4WD - original owner - 264,000 - original tranny.
Well maintained. Tranny flush every 60K, fluid is bright.
I'm feeling a mild grinding buzzing vibration "under" the gas pedal when accelerating gently in 3rd gear.
It's a 55mph state highway with many curves and some climbs, speed varies from 30 to 60.
Under normal commute conditions (calm driving), the vehicle will gently shift between 3 & 4 several times.
You feel the vibration in 3rd, it stops when it shifts up.
U-joints and tires are good.
I suspect motor mounts and tranny mount?
However, I'm approaching end of life on the 4L60, so I'm always suspicious of that.
Anyone here have any relevant experience?
Is my symptom a known warning sign for tranny or TC?
Thanks!
