Brake size by vin???

Can this be done?
Is there a place in the vin number that tells you what size the drums are.
Need to order brakes and I don't know which ones to get.
And the truck is with my wife tonight.

I don't think you can through a vin. Check this out. It tells you how to identify your brakes....

Yeah. I just called the Chevy stealership. They do look it up somehow with the vin.
