Well now that I have purchased my 4/6 lowering components for my 1998 chevy c1500 extended cab. I am on to decideing which tire/rim choice is best for me. What is the widest rim I can run on the rear of my truck with a 4/6 lowering?

I was thinking about running a 255/35R20 on a 20x8.5 rim up front and a 275/35R20 on a 20x10 rim in the rear.

That'll work. I didn't want to go to a lower profile tire, mostly because of the local road conditions, & I drive a lot. Fillings in teeth are expensive to get re-done! Lol!

Low profile tires aren't that had. My dad has low profile tires on his Lexus is250 and rides great.

The brand of the tire made the ride different. His car came with pirelli's on it and he put bfgs on it. The bfg's had a better ride surprisingly.
