any one know what size the bolts are that hold the front diff in?

im goin to the junkyard tomorrow to pull the front diff out of a 98 2500 8 lug burb and i just need to know what size wrenches and sockets i gotta bring.... and also if anyone knows the sizes needed to remover a upper a arm that would be much appreciated thank you in advanced

most of the bolts are from 18mm up to 22mm to be safe or up to 15/16 you should be safe and you need a 36mm for the axle nuts

definatly either 18 or 22 I think 22.

I pulled mine awhile back, but I forget on the uppers control arms.

Well thanks guys i did get it with a 7/8s. Got the matches front to my ff rear and a upper a arm for 75 bucks... now gotta get some more money and go back for cv shafts spindles breaks and wheel bearings

you dont have to take out the cv shafts, just disconnect them
