When mine broke off I couldn't budge it with an easy out and never could figure out why the are called that cause broken stuff seldom comes out easy. I ended up using a hack saw blade and making 4 cuts about 3/4 through the fitting and the tapping them inward with a punch to break them out. Chased the threads and replaced with a hose barb fitting as others discribed.

Exactly what I did, if you're careful enough you can fell the difference in the metal when you hit the intake.

I tried that on my tbi intake but misjudged how deep i went into the fitting in one place and screwed the intake up. Lucky for me I had a extra intake laying around.

I put three slits in the lower three or four threads of my new piece to make it act like a tap. Threaded right in nice and easy and cleaned up all my little teeth marks left behind.
