Still not an HD radiator, that's for the cop Tahoe. HD radiators are taller like 454 said, and they come thin, thick, and diesel.

I'm not talking about the 3500 HD, those have taller filler necks and won't fit a pickup at all if you want the hood to close. However my non-HD 454 radiator is taller than a small block radiator. It has a core height of around 19.5".

I just checked multiple years on Rockauto for 2500 and 3500..... 454 Vortecs and even 95 TBI's get the 19.5"-ish core radiator. When I went back to 90, they also listed 17"-ish core radiators, so it's a year thing.

I say "-ish" because each manufacturer lists the measurement a bit different. My TYC says 19.41"

I wasn't talking 3500HD either, but I guess my wording was confusing in that respect. My point being, a 1500 short 34" radiator could be had thick like a 454 dually which looks like what he'd posted. Then the tall ones came in the 2500s as single core like my short 34" radiator in my 1500. I pulled one from a 454 2500 Suburban. I'm not sure what box you had to check to get the big one like my dually has, but it's tall and thick. Same dimensions as a diesel radiator, but not all weird.

Interesting. I had no idea there were taller rads in those trucks. I don't remember how I came up with the part number but apparently I happened to get it right for my application
