adding reserve fuel tank to ‘98 k2500

Who has experience, suggestions or ideas on the feasibility and process for adding reserve fuel tank to ‘98 k2500? Thanks in advance.

With the slide in? I've long wanted to put a pair of pork chop tanks in the front of the bed of my dually.

Yes, I’ll have a truck bed camper. Rather I was thinking mounted to the frame, opposite to the existing tank, passenger side

Exhaust is over there. I measured in front of my 1500's tank and figure I could squeeze a 7 gallon cell in there if I make it myself.

I was thinking I’d seen dual tank pickups coming from the factory but I don’t remember if they were gmt400

If you want to remove the spare tire, maybe mount an SUV tank, or an aux tank out of a cab&chassis?

I think quite a few Squarebodies had dual tanks.... Fords of the same era did too, I think.

I think either the chassis cabs or the HD had duals, but don't quote me.

I had a C&C and had the aux tank. Don't think I've seen the HD with one, but I'm sure there out there.
