Thanks everyone for the welcome.
I'll have to look for the part number on the starter but it was not a special order, just an instock high torque starter.
I'm an older guy (45) finally getting my head above water after some family medical stuff, so don't expect any wild rebuilds. Plans call for an LS swap, completing the 2/4 drop and getting the interior in a little better shape. First I have to finish putting my 96 Impala back together to use as a daily driver while the motor swap is being done.
Checking on a few places about doing the swap, just the thought of messing with the wiring makes me cringe. lol and I am down in Beaufort SC for now.
