After a few months i purchased a welder and started to tinker with it.. First thing i done was shave the stake pockets and the tailgate handle.. then i made a fiberglass roll pan.. later i purchased a shaved door kit and welded the handle holes up.. the truck was primer sealed in white with red rally wheels and chrome rings :)

Then months later i decided to look into possibly bagging it and trying everything ive ever wanted to try before..
First i primed it the weird green that it is now..

Had it all roughed in pretty good, just some skim and sanding and all would be good...

But then a change of heart.. shaved steps are clean, shaved tails look good.. but all seen a million times.. I noticed a truck with shaved body line and fell in love with the way it looked.. so i cut it all off.

I am glad i did..

Weld em in a tack at a time and let the tacks cool! takes a while but it prevents warping the roof skin..
