Today got quite a bit done, broke down the driver and passenger side.
Got everything separated rotors, calipers seem pretty rusty have some questions about re using them. Contemplating. A way to press the LCA bushings and ball joint

Wanted to break it down to the steering knuckle to wire it and paint but feel like I should only do that if I plan to replace the hub assembly,

Honestly if you're that far into replacing parts on the front end, I would replace EVERYTHING.

That way everything is new and you won't get it back together only to have something go wrong with a part you thought was good. Looks like you're making good progress.

Steering knuckle won today, only had like 3 hours to spare got work on it. Hit it with a torch and pb blaster those bolt are pretty glued on there. Won’t have much time
Tomorrow but will go at it again hopefully Friday and get it started to paint

Driver Side LCA ball joint areas look ok and round, the bushing are shot my ballpress was too small of a C to fit around been looking for a shop press. Bushing area is kind pressed in. On one of the arms feels like it should be able to be pushed out.

Passenger Side LCA the area of the bolts looked straight not bends. But the ball joint area has a bit of a dent in it. What does this mean for the usefulness of the part? Does it need to be remachined something ?

got a line on a replacement LCA passenger so that’s good .
In Other New finally conquered the hub assembly and knuckles. Had the help of a friend on marketplace I met a while back. He blasted it with his plasma torch had to widen a hole in the hub assembly to fit a larger socket. with a lot of blasting and a bigger impact gun than I had We got them both off. The driver side was ALOT harder. Only for the knuckle to have the last laugh cause it’s potentially damaged.
Kind of makes sense everything on that side has been a lot harder to get off as well as seeing a pattern of damage , bump stop, shock dented, upper control arm was dented and now the knuckle which looked like it was hit by the Upper. It’s one step closer to finishing so I’m grateful .

Finally got this stubborn center link off Friday, probably will end up just replacing it the driver side hole that connected to the pitman arm was a little warped I’m assuming that was partly the reason it was so challenging to get off.
After cleaning up the frame wheel well and painting those and some new parts I’ll be ready to re install everything gladly. One step closer!
