Hi everyone so I replaced my distributor,plugs,wires and my truck was throwing a p0300 code so I figured it is out of time. Well I fixed that issue by swapping a couple plug wires around that were backwards! Now the truck runs like a dream again but now is throwing a p0305 code which is cylinder #5 misfire, i have had a snap on scanner hooked up and it only misfires at idle not under any type of rpm at all. I was reading on another forum earlier a guy says he replaced his brake booster check valve and it fixes his problem every time and he also says that cylinder #5 gives vacuum to the check valve is that true?
