Newbie
Hello I am new to this site so please forgive me if I post this wrong.
I have a 97 k2500 pickup with a 7.4l and it had a 4l80e behind it. I went over to nv4500 trans, I had the ecm 're programmed for a manual transmission. When I started driving the truck the speedometer never worked and when I tow or have a load of stone in the bed it's like driving with the ebrake on. I know the auto trans uses 2 speed sensors and the manual should only use the one in the t case. My conclusion is that the truck thinks it's only ideling and is not giving more fuel under load. I searches all over the web trying to figure this out and can't find anyone talking about this problem.
