I’m building a 79 350 to replace the V6 in my 96 GM 1500. My question is will I have to use the earlier V belts, or can I use a serpentine belt. I have the 882 heads with mounting holes in one end of them.

Induction? I haven’t played with this stuff since my 20’s. I’m having to relearn so much, it’s a lot of fun. I’ve also been told that I would need to regulate the fuel pressure. I’m planning on going with maybe a 650 Holley.

I’m also needing to know how this will affect my transmission. It’s a 4L60E. Will I need a controller or what.
