Hey guys I'm about to take out my drive shafts and transfer case to drop the transmission, does anyone know if I have to index my drive shafts to make sure they go back in the same way I took them out? I've heard they might be balanced or something? Just wondering! Tips and suggestions are more than welcome as well! Thanks guys!

Iv never heard of anyone doing this, just don't take the splines apart on the front shaft and you should be fine. If somehow it does end up apart, you have to line the yokes up to put it back together. Notice the relation of the yokes before you take it out.

Also, if you will take electrical tape and tape around the U-joints, it'll lessen the chance you knock a cap off and ruin a good u-joint.
