If by "dump" you mean turn downs, I wouldn't. I had duals ran to turn downs and it sounded terrible, and after removing just the turn downs and leaving it open after the muffler it sounded a ton better. I have found my best sound to be tail-pipes 45'd behind each tire.

I agree tips would sound better but I dont care for the look of them. i have turn downs under the shackles and its nice but looks a little ratty to me. just thought i should chop em off and be completly hidden if thats the look im going for. plus it might add a little volume

I would just cut them back even and put a short rolled tip on, rather than put an actual turn down. If I ever decide to ditch my tail pipes then that's the route I'm going.
