95 hvac LEDs

Has anyone found out more about which LEDs fit in the 95 hvac? I know the 1.5's people found haven't worked.

i got 1.5's from superbrightleds.com and they worked for me

On what truck? I have read its only a problem on the 1995 gm trucks

o didnt kno that and it was on my 98

Yeah 96-98 were all 1.5's but the 95's seem to be different

o guess i learned something new today

thanks MIHELA he has a 95 gm pickup and said he used the 74-x leds with the wedge base similar to the wled-x leds used for the gauges and they fit his hvac.

were yours like a wire with a light on it part way through? or were they twistlock? i have a 95 tahoe and mine were twistlock so i got the 1.5's

they are 74x on sbl.com. i have blue in mine and yes mine a 95 with the lights all on the string of wires that plugs into the back of the hvac controls

I read that with the string of lights to the hvac controls, putting in LEDs can cause a short?
