You have a vacuum leak. Grab a can of carb clean and spray the base of the TB and the intake where it bolts to the heads. My bet is a big vacuum leak at the intake.
Can't get it to idle at all now though

At any point have you checked to make sure you dont have a leaking fuel injector?
As in the engine doesn't turn over? Or the engine spins but won't start?Well I unplugged the IAC still wouldn't crank
