92 GMC 700R4 to 94 4l60 non-electronic swap my 4l60 not electronic doesn't have a detent cable just a four plug connector no electronics on shifter

My 92 700R4 has detect cable my 94 does not only has four plug pin connector can I take just the little white box behind the glove compartment and Swatch that out with my wiring in order to run the 4l60 non electronic and delete the detent and what about wiring I'm more of a parts changer but I have a basic understanding thank you

No, the 4L60 also requires the TV cable that runs to the throttle body. Without it your transmission's lifespan is measured in feet. There's probably some more differences to be addressed, but I've never fiddled with a 4L60e.

If the '94 transmission doesn't have a Throttle Valve (TV) cable, it's a 4L60E, and yes, it's electronic.
