Hey everyone.

I just got done swapping my transmission on my 91 k2500 and i ran into a issue with the wiring connector,

I bought a 98 k1500 4l60e to swap into my 91 k2500 and the plugs dont line up so i got the plug for the 4l60e to hook up and i was hoping someone can tell me which wire goes were.

I read alot of diagrams online but i cant find one for my 91 connector so if you can help i'd appreciate it

Why are you going from a 4l80 to a 4l60?? Seems like a major downgrade.....
Preferably i'd rather have the 4l80 over the 60 but the 4l80e took a crap before i bought the truck and the 60 was the only trans i found since 4l80e are hard to find where i live lol.

The 4l60 was a pain in the ass to mount up especially since the converter bolts didn't line up but im hoping i can get the 4l80 rebuilt sometime down the road.

And on the ecm how do i tell which i had?
Would it be on the sticker on the ecm?
I haven't look at a ecm in a year so my knowledge is kinda bad right now

Cant find a 2wd? Or one out of a van? Van ones have fully splined output shaft that can be cut down to same length as a 4wd.

Cant find one at all, closest thing i found to a 4l80 is a th400 2wd but i only jump on the 60 because it had a rebuild and it was cheap enough for me lol

I mainly deal with 2wd truck i have another truck its a 92. Chevy extended cab with the 4l60 in it and it drives ok but it hesitate in reverse and at 65 it at around 2500 rpm i don't like the 60s that much but its all i had.had.

I honestly rather have a nv4500 like my 92 gmc had but havent found one cheap enough to swap

I'd read online that in the 98 4l60e they also run of the speed sensor to shift properly.

Now i seen a youtube video that the 4l80e has 2 speed sensors idk if thats the case but if it has 2 how would i make them into 1?
