It will fit although the vacuum ports might be different. Check the numbers on the casting.

Good advice. I haven't paid much attention to the squarebody TBI units but IIRC the big difference (at least in small block TBI's) happened in 1991 when they changed the TPS style and connector.

Very likely a drop-on replacement.

I used a Treasure Yard throttle body of unknown vintage on my '88; it required a different base gasket but was otherwise entirely suitable.

As Shurkey pointed out it should pretty much bolt right on. You may want to check the throttle shaft for slop. I just had to bush the throttle shaft bores on an '87 TB. It's not a year model thing,it's an age and use thing.
