This is the first thing that showed up on google: http://www.gmc4x4.com/topic/298-aam-14-bolt-rear-axle/?p=2601 and it seems to indicate that you will need to at least alter the pads.

I'd like to have that factory disc brake setup though.....that's worth 200 bucks alone.

Heck, for 200 bucks I'd snatch that up and spend a hundy more and have the pads altered.

200 is a screaming deal if it's in running shape...plus, it's not a G80 carrier so there's lots of aftermarket options if you want to slip in a locker.

It's even got the right gearing for my 98.

Yup, if it were close to me I'd grab that up right quick if it measured out good flange to flange and deal with the perches later....perches are a super easy fix.....:secret:
