1996 4l60e behind 1997 vortec 5.7 are there any issues to look out for

my 1996 4l60e just went out with 40000 miles on rebuild it is a 1996 truck that had a 305 and i swapped to a 1997 350 and 1997 pcm just wondering if there is a difference in trans from 1996 to 1997 on electronic side or do i need to replace 1996 4l60e with 1997 4l60e

You shouldn't but check the sticky at the top of the transmission page. I think the only problem child were the 95's irt interchangeability
