Fade ought to be able to be done by amyone who works in a body shop. The technique is very similar to blending.
Very cool. That is good to know. I have seen some Mark III trucks with fade that were not painted right and they look awful. Mostly likely done by amateurs.

The new blinkers arrived today make it even better. I'm really starting to dig this truck. I have a few more cosmetic upgrades to do and some tuning on the engine. Then an aftermarket exhaust I it will be ready for daily use.

DOT approved. I want to thank Shovelbill again for his lighting thread. These are awesome. I am also going to build my own headlight relay harness with the high4 and a switch. Need to hit the junkyard up and see if I can find the elusive fog lamp switch.

I need to get some new amber 1157's which leads me down another rabbit hole. Going to try some LED ones.

I cleaned out from behind the 64' so I could get the last brake lines installed and then bleed the brakes. Man I need to order the 4" rear lower springs!

I got all the brake lines installed and tightened all connections. Then I proceeded to bleed the brakes. Every single connection leaked so I went back and fought to get all of them tight for an hour. Then I got fluid to the back lines and the front. I still have air in the system. I stopped after a few hours of crawling up and down my body gave out. I will tackle it this weekend and have working brakes very soon. Then I just need to get the new skin on the driver door and a shifter and we can go down the road for a test drive.

One last thing the front t block to connect the rear lines was the wrong size for the rear. I had saved my old one thankfully and after I cleaned it out it went on with no hassle. Thank goodness I saved it.

My Camaro used to look like yours, then it lived on a road course starting in 2004. Amazing how much better they look when they're not beat to ****.
