3" lift and 35" bfg km2's. 454 tbi, 4l80e, g80 14bolt, 9.25 ifs, true duals with stainless flowmasters, k&n, towing chip, 1.7 roller rockers, royal purple fluids, likely around 325 at the flywheel. future mods; snorkle, full roof safari rack, 12000lb winch, and possibly a np205 conversion.

Why just get roller rockers instead of going full roller? Then you could Cam at the same time which gives you a lot more room for modification and you could have stuck with a 1.5 ratio.

BBC is 1.7 stock, sbc is 1.5 stock. current motor has plenty of ooomph. around 325hp and likely 400ftlbs. maybe more. if i ever feel the need for more i have a 525 merlin on the stand

i have a 525ci merlin bbc with patriot aluminum heads. 10.200 tall deck merlin block, lunati sledgehammer forged cw stroker crank, forged h beam elgin rods with arp 2000 bolts, probe forged pistons, total seal rings, patriot aluminum heads with titanium hardware/big valves/ported and polished, lunati voodoo cam .700 lift .240 duration, arp main bolts, arp rod bolts, arp head bolts, going to use a 54mm tbi on a merlin intake, msd crank trigger setup. right now just the longblock is built. likely in the 600hp - 700hp range. designed to run on pump gas. only 10:1.

Did you notice a difference with the 1.7 rockers?

1.7 is the stock ratio, switching to rollers will free up a little parasitic loss but nothing really drastic

YES...sbc is 1.5. bbc is 1.7, and i agree with outalne that it just frees up parasitic loss.
