I think I may have a bad pcm looking to goto pick a part and get one to verify my problem. What years can I pull it from.
Its a 1992 k2500 6lug. 350 with a 700r4. I have a picture of my pcm with the numbers on it so I can match em up if needed.

I'd troubleshoot a different direction first. ECM's on these trucks very rarely go bad. And I mean VERY rarely. Finding the exact right one is gonna be a challenge; your cutoff year is '92 because in '93 they went to a PCM to control the 4L60E trans.

I've done just about everything on my 92 except distributor and knock sensor. It has a jet chip in it so I was kind of leaning towards a bad chip making it run like crap, wont idle then sometimes when it does it idles around 1500rpm.

Only thing I need to do is pin out my knock sensor wire.
Can anyone tell me where it goes to the pcm? Looks like a green wire. If it has continuity I may replace the knock sensor if that still dont help I'd like to goto pick a part and try to find a comparable pcm to test if thats the problem.
Being my truck is a ******* k2500 6lug should I get a pcm from a 1/2 ton 4x4 700r4 truck preferably the same year

Is there a way too test the knock sensor. Do yall have a pin location so I can check for a break in the wire from knock sensor to pcm

As long as the ecm numbers match it doesn't matter. Your prom chip is what tells you computer the information on engine size, gear ratio etc.
