1990 Wiper Pulse Board

I dont know if the pulse board is actually bad, I've just read that others replace theirs in the 91+ trucks and it solved their problem.

I have the exact same board for my truck and have problems. Maybe its the type of board. Does anyone know if the different style of wiper motors are interchangeable? I have also never been able to find a new one that is the same style.
