00 k2500 5.7

157k on 00 k2500 with 5.7/4l80... engine has bad knock, my 97 k1500 has a newer 5.7.. will I have any issues swapping it into the 2500? Any cheaper options than a l31 long block for $1800

97 has 225k on body and trans, 100k on gm crate engine..

If it runs good swap em. I think the 2500 has 4 bolt mains otherwise it's the same engine.
