tires wheels stock rims

Looking to upgrade tires and wheels for a 1998 C2500/Will any of the newer GMC/Chevy 6 lug wheels/tires fit on my Truck?
I have after market 16 inch wheels on the Truck now, though I do not have many choices for tires in that size. I like to know what are the best size rims and tires for my truck. I was thinking of 17 or 18 inch wheels from the newer GMC/sivlerado trucks...i think they have some pretty nice...- cubandeathgrip
