    Transfer Case Troubles on '94 K1500

    Okay, so I'm fairly new to working on my truck and had the 4x4 go out on me. When I shift into 4wd, it grinds the hell out of itself and won't lock the front axles. I was told it could be the actuator, and I'm currently strapped for cash. Any advice will help.

    Truck stuck in neutral after 4x4 is engaged (97 1500 5.7l)

    I have the electronic push button 4x4. Any time I press the button to engage 4wd the transfer case goes into neutral and stays there, leaving me stranded. If you try and change gears it makes grinding sound. Usually, I stand around and reset the battery a few times (truck wont start in neutral)...
