    Yah Im seriously thinking about getting some 850$ 200cc 64 Chinese aluminum heads. just a little scared of the reliability on a daily. Although I guess if the worst happens I could just throw stock heads back on until I have the money for AFR or trickflow.

    Yah, just looking to up compression and if I’m doing pistons I’ll spend the extra and go forged and also get rods. Yah, I’m shooting for around 330hp. Not sure if it’s possible on vortec heads? Just trying to hit 330 cheapest way possible. And I don’t want to LS swap.

    Will I have to balence the rotating assembly on forged rods and pistons?

    I’m planning on putting high comp forged rods and pistons but keeping bore and stroke stock. I had someone tell me I will have to get my rotating assembly balanced. Is this true? I thought it was only if you change the stroke and bore to a 377 or 383? Thanks, Korbin.

    Still working out the little details but I have found some build pretty much exactly what I’m doing using a modified stock TBI system. Based on what I’m finding It can be done, people just don’t cause for all that time and a lot of the money one could throw a sniper system on it.
