    I patched it up and have only drove it once but so far no leaking

    Correct. I should have just tapped it out with a hammer and screw driver like did the front. Live and learn

    I put the new seal in, put some rtv on it where the piece broke, put the piece back in there and then put some Jb weld across the top. Let’s hope and pray she doesn’t leak.

    Using a seal puller, the seal came out pretty easy, but noticed the hook broke off part of the T case. Best work around to fix this?

    Thank you! I love the bfg’s on the obs chevys. I wanted some newer duramax aluminum wheels but couldn’t find any and the steelies were cheap. I had to cut some to get the 285’s not to rub but nothing major. I actually just sold them a few days ago.

    Just picked up a 98 k2500 suburban a few weeks ago. Leather seats, 4x4, 2 owner and 148k miles. Got it for $4000.     What ring gear size do I have?

    I have a 98 suburban k2500, in changing my transfer case seals and the pinion seals need it to. Do I have the 10.5” ring gear? It’s got the 14 bolt with 4.10 gears
