cross referencing 92 454tbi EGR valve

hey guys, trying to cross reference the now discontinued AC DELCO 214-5429 / 17091064 EGR valve. i can’t seem to figure out which EGR offered by parts stores today would cross reference to this one. whenever i enter a 92 454tbi with an over 8600gvwr i get a mismatch of potential EGR valves...

electric actuator upgrade doesn’t fit 8 lug k2500

hey guys, the thermal actuator burned out on my 1992 gmc k2500 7.4l tbi truck. i decided to do the electric actuator upgrade and ordered the dorman 600-600 kit along with the dorman 600-101 actuator. my issue is that the body of the new actuator is wider and hits the axle tube, preventing it...

Just acquired an abandoned 92 sierra 2500 with the 7.4L. Looking for info and resources

Hey guys, new to these trucks but not new to wrenching/ welding/ machining. Just acquired a 92 sierra 2500 single cab long bed with the 454 non vortec in it. The truck has sat since at least 2010. it is high miled at 220,000 miles. It was owned by my friends father's company, it was a work truck...
