    I like the challenge, and it's an idea I've had for a while now. The geometry of the lift would lend a better outcome than stock steering. It's less about should I and more about could I. Thank you for the input, it's much appreciated.

    Ide have to agree with jwelar on this one, although, consider instead a Cummins swap. I've done a few of these on international at the dealership and in Ford's to get rid of the 6.0 and 6.4. It's worth every penny, but, the crate engine BB is most cost effective.

    I run the RC 2-3 inch suspension lift and plan to add 2 inches of body. It seems to be the most economical way to fit bigger tires without compromising suspension geometry and parts wear. Plus it give you a chance to change out worn parts and upgrade upper control arms. Just a simple minded...

    Running a heavier oil

    If your lifters are making a noise, there's a deeper issue that needs to be addressed . Use what the OEM suggested unless you have altered the base engine to other specs. The only addition I would suggest is using full synthetic.
