91 silverado AC parts required for R134a

Yes, I've had a look at a friends 95 and seen the switch. The compressor ships with a block off plate and o-ring in place of the switch.

91 silverado AC parts required for R134a

My system just has the low pressure switch at the accumulator, but I do have the pigtails required for the high pressure switch. Every component of the system will be brand new so there is no oil or residue to flush out. I have also been told that the '95 compressor can be used without adding...

    Front backing plates? Anywhere?

I'll dig around and see if I can find the one that I made the template from and trace you a template if you like. Both sides are identical in shape and bolt spacing. Let me know and I can mail it to you.

I have thought about switching to the composite lights but that would require different sockets etc. Anyways...

    Front backing plates? Anywhere?

Do you have enough of the original to make a pattern? I had one that I made a pattern from and cut new ones out of 16 gauge steel (old street sign). Cuts easy with a jig saw with metal cutting blade. Cleaned up and painted black - function as they should.

    Hello from Ontario

I don't have a lot of good pics, but here is what we started with and a few showing some progress on the body. The truck basically needs everything, but we're getting there.

Thanks Kennythewelder. My condolences to you as well, it's not a club that anyone wants to belong to. But restoring "the stepside" will keep his memory alive.

Slowly putting it back together using a lot of the parts that he had collected and some newer additions that I'm sure he would approve of. I'll be checking in here regularly to...
