    seems to run ok when cold. But when it goes into closed loop it will die and I have to feather the gas pedal. I just rebuilt the throttle body, new pressure spring, injectors, IAC and throttle position sensor.... seemed to run good for about a week. also replaced the coolant temp sensor...

    swapped out the TPS sensor, no change. Don't think it's a fluid issue, ran fine for about a week after the cooler line broke.

    The cooler line had a rubber hose spliced in. Broke at the rubber connection. I put a TPS in about a year ago. It could be a bad, got it at Autozone. No check engine light, no codes. I swap out the TPS and see what happens. Thanks

    i did mine last summer. The dash did not have to come out. Just unbolt the right side. I got a cheap manual from Autozone. tell you how to remove without taking the dash out.

    Thanks, I'll try that. I think I might also rebuild the throttle body. The truck is not an everyday driver. I use every so often to drive up to Ohio. So, I'm in no real hurry to get this done.

    I reset to computer, now it does not run when cold. I have to press the gas to keep it running. When it warms up it still idles high. I think the owner that had it before me may have messed up the wiring. He replaced the engine. Does anybody have a picture of the IAC pigtail? I looked in the FS...

    I have a '94 1500 with a 350. Changed some pigtails (IAC), now the engine has a high idle. I have the factory manual and according to the wiring diagram it is wiried right. I only changed the plastic part of the pigtail, no wire splicing. I also changed the IAC after about 1500 miles. Still...
