Has anyone used this turbo kit?(speedway motors)

Thanks for ALL the useful input ladies. Lol Didn’t expect this to be as good as LS1tech but being dedicated to these trucks I had hope.

Between laughing at wanting this thing street trim and staying the obvious, it doesn’t come off well. Easy to see why forums are pretty ruining much dead So yay, getting to be dikked around by facebook bulllshit Not that it matters. Clearly bad worlds hurt someone’s feeling here

Respect is a two way street. He came off ****** to me. Cause and effect. Just because I’m new to a forum doesn’t mean I’m new this any if this. Laughing at me not wanting fended exit on what is a street truck isn’t funny. But thanks for showing an inability to be unbiased

You are the one pointing out obvious ****. You Clearly don’t get what I’m trying to do so don’t bother with any further input. They exist forward and it has the U bend with it. I’m in the fence if I can make it fly or not. Hard to do without first hand experience from others or my hands...

Has anyone used this turbo kit?(speedway motors)

I’ve done turbo setups. I’m just curious about this particular kit. Truck has a 5.3 but going to move to a 6 liter Yes, captain obvious. It’s half the reason I am interested in this kit. Because there isn’t a ton of room for a IC so I’m going to figure that out. I have cold side piping...

Really wanting to give it a try on my 88. I want the exhaust to run back behind the cab and not some fender exit BS. Anyone have any experience with it?

    20 gallon fuel cell install

It has a check valve built in. Going to run it up to a position in the bed. Probably the only thing I consider easy on this modification lol

    20 gallon fuel cell install

Idk if this is where you want it, but I don’t see a fuel related section. I’m a LS1tech moderator for a long time so hate to know I might have it in the wrong location Anyway. I feel this video is drawn out more than I wanted but thank god folks like me can hit fast forward when we feel the...

Have everything for the tank swap to fuel cell. Trying to see if I should cut corners and use the stock axles. Maybe swap to a ARP wheel stud. Keep the small ford bolt pattern when I mod the 8.8. I did buy another rather rough 88 SWB that the engine, trans and rear from this truck as well as...

Yarrrr All components here for the fuel cell to be installed….. Sadly I cannot touch it til after Sunday. May be getting another 88 SWB as well. I’ll be flipping that one for cash

    Moving leaf springs inboard

Using the existing springs is cheaper and faster to make happen than a 4 link or other pricey modification. Will be just as much room as a 4 link or whatever else Are you denying that a wider tire is more traction? I’m in it for looks first but traction is a plus. And it’s going to be...

    Moving leaf springs inboard

Update on ideas for the truck: I happen to have a spare 8.8 laying around from a explorer. I’ll probably swap the axles from right to left to center the carrier(it is offset for those that haven’t dabbled in modding explorer rears) and it will bring the width from stock, 65 inches wide to a...

    Moving leaf springs inboard

Hell, all I need is a stock one as long as it’s 5 on 5. I’ll be happy to not need to shorten this myself. I have built some 8.8s and have one spare but would have to get new axles

    Moving leaf springs inboard

I have found a lot of that when searching for info. I am going to use the existing mounts just going from outside to inside and I’ll modify as needed. I kinda just do what I want since I have plasma, mig and all that fun stuff. I’m impressed this hasn’t been covered in depth in the past

    Moving leaf springs inboard

Good stuff for someone that doesn’t want to mod and wants the 315 or less I’m going 325/50 on a 12” wheel. That’s the goal. I’ll go with a wider tire even later

Thanks man. I assumed by the name that would be what you meant. I just cannot for the life of me recall seeing it. I might google it just for inspiration

    Moving leaf springs inboard

Never heard of it. I’m just doing what I desire to achieve the look I want. 275/60s suck compared to what I can have once I move everything inboard

    Moving leaf springs inboard

I am going to figure it out, but wanted to see wha others did. I will modify as needed. Just going to flip springs from outer right to inner left and visa versa. Only thing I haven’t figured out is how much room I’ll have for the fuel cell and how I’ll get it mounted properly to tuck as high...

    Moving leaf springs inboard

Hey fellas. Wanting to go with a 325/50/15 on a 10” wheel. Maybe even a 12” wide wheel if I can. I’ll be widening the rear fender wells as well. Just curious if anyone has pics of the frame with the springs moved in. Just want to see what others have done. I’ll probably cover it on YouTube as...
