Lift kit or level?

here is my old 1994 k2500 light duty with a 2 inch t bar crank and 2 inch blocks with 35's...rode like crap so i lowered it to a 1 inch crank with cheap oreileys add a leafs and kept the 35's on it. only rub was on the frame at full crank and rode like a caddillac. i actually gained mpg becuase...

35s & gas mileage

i average 14 mpg in my stock 99 tahoe. ps dont lift it just throw those 35's on there!! 35's would be tiny with a 5.5-6 inch lift
