Lurching or jerking feeling at 55-70mph?

Checked mine out with scan tool and monitored the torque converter and all was working as should. The tc was my first thought, checked codes and had a random missfire, and some o2 codes. Found that my jerking/surging would get worse when I pulled it down into 3rd so after checking my miss fire...

Just found your post, having the same issue. 1996 350 vortec, all new delco plugs, wire, cap, rotor, intake (upper and lower) gaskets injectors and new gm trans installed by dealer. Truck has a 6in lift and a bit of driveline wind up on acceleration. same range as you described. Will only happen...

Removed side moulding need ideas on options

Best I could tell no repaint, been in the dealership/auto biz for years (I work for FORD now, Haha) , no lines/overspray in door jams and all the moulding was stuck pretty good, I pulled lighty but still, bad news. I used the trusty 3M eraser to get sticky off. It took clear off and at some...

Removed side moulding need ideas on options

Ok well I got the good idea to remove my side moulding/trim and it took off paint! Looks like crap now. Any one know of any replacement moulding or show Pics of what they have done? Maybe pics of white two tones? Rhino lined bottoms? Post em up or trim ideas thanks!

4L60E rebuild advice?

Hey guys, I have a 1996 Tahoe with 4l60e (1 piece case), I had lost 2nd gear so I hooked up computer and found no codes. But I had 4th still. So I browsed around and seen were a servo leak could cause this, so I did the "vette" servo and belive it or not I got 2nd back, well for a few miles! Lol...

Shock hoops post

Anyone have a IFS Tahoe with shock hoops? Was interested in them but was curious about what it takes to do them and cost factor, I have a super lift 6" suspension and I like the looks of them on other trucks, only ones I've seen on tahoes have been straight axles. Post pics if so, and more info...

5.7 injector part number help

This is a question that I'm sure has been answered before but can anyone tell me what the part # is for the injector spider replacement? And whitch intake gasket sets are? Best place to buy for cost and reliability. Thanks Tips and tricks on this repair?

Factory keyless? Advise

I have a 1996 Tahoe it has power windows, power locks its a "LT" but it didn't come with factory keyless remotes? I had the local Chevy dealer check my vin and they said it wasent equipt with it? Can it be added? Just asking.
