Oil Recommendations

Mechanic used Valvoline 5W-30 Full Synthetic. No issues, motor is running smooth. I'll probably run Mobil1 oil and filter going forward though.

Unfortunately it wasn't compatible so I returned it (Amazon). I can't remember the exact error, but after messing with it for a few hours I gave up.

I just spoke to a larger tire chain that says they can't sell me low profile tires (35 series) because my truck is too heavy. What's the workaround here? Obviously guys run low profile tires on their trucks all day long. Is there a manufacturer that makes a thicker/stronger side wall, similar...

Yeah, between the tape marks was as far as I could get the roller to go. Anything else would probably need to be done with a hammer and dolly. I'm going to wait until I get my wheels to see how things measure up.

I took that to mean the notch plate/support. Once the frame has been notched you won't pull that plate off, so you may as well weld it and make it stronger and permanent.
