Outside for now covered in pollen until parts arrive. Wish I had a little more sidewall front and rear but it is what it is.

Figured out the issue with the caliper clearance. There was hub centric rings on the axles that weren't required with this brake setup. I had to get a conversion joint for the new yoke. And for now, got some braided lines on. I got ground the rivet heads and knocked them out and pulled the...

Just a 80 shell off ebay with a $40 billet insert. I think after the hood and door get painted I'm going to swap out the black housing lights for a stock looking set. And thanks, not to bad for my first time

I appreciate it. Yeah it's a pretty nice piece. Moser M9, 35 spline, wilwood 13in big brake kit, all the bells and whistles. The grill shell that I bought for this truck fits perfect. The replacement Filler strip that goes under it that I got from lmc was about 1.75" short per side. Luckily I...

Javlin42: My 1994 RCSB Build Thread

Alright, got some help to set the bed on and centered back up. I think it's going to work. That was the easiest but stressful part. Now to take it all back a part and weld my brake line brackets on, make brake lines, assemble the assembly, traction bars and drive shaft. I will say to...

Javlin42: My 1994 RCSB Build Thread

Alright, this week's project has began. Got the bed pulled off and started the disassembly. And threw the next housing in and axles. Just test fitting everything just in case. Waiting for some help to set the bed on then time to make brake lines and final assembly on the rest of the components.

I mounted these today. If the weather cooperates the rest of the week, I'm going to get the bed set off and hopefully install the new rear axle. Still skeptical that this wheel/tire combo will fit but we shall see.

    Interior light problems

Just the under dash lights come on. No dome, and mirrors still don't work. I'm trying to locate the junction of where all the wires split from. Because I can unplug the harness at the kick, and apply power and turn the overhead lights on and they work fine. Plug the harness back in and apply...

    90-1500

Just went through your hole build thread. Killer work bro, I think you will be happy with the TKX trans and the coilovers. I recently did that trans swap as well as a coilover conversion (ridetech) on a customer vehicle. How do those tmi seats sit? Looks like you gain a ton of leg and head...

    95 Sierra LS swap with a 97 4L60E

The spacer is only needed to bolt an LT-style 4L60E to an LS engine. All pre-98' are LT style but some later years from non-LS engines are also LT-style. LT style have a 298mm input shaft. LT converters have a shorter pilot. LS style have a 300mm input shaft. LS converters have a longer pilot...

    Header question ( long tubes)

No the LT1/LT4 style have a different cylinder head/exhaust ports. But speed engineering sells a lt swap header but says it only fits c10 trucks up to 87. I ordered a set to try, hopefully I can make it work and it clear the front driveshaft. But I will update the thread with pictures and...

    Header question ( long tubes)

I apologize if this isn't the right section. But I've got a 95 Tahoe with the 6 2 LT1 swap and I'm wanting to put a set of long tubes on it. However my searches haven't turned up much information. I was told the long tubes for the 14-19 silverado will fit the 4x4 obs chevy, but I was looking at...

    Interior light problems

I got a chance to start digging into this today. I'll also add that I have no power at the power mirror switch or in either door for those lights And if I pull the #3 fuse out, I'm not showing that it's grounded at the fuse. But any of the orange wires in the headliner I'm showing continuity...

    Interior light problems

Seems to be quite an issue after searching on the forum but to anyone that may have had a similar issue, here's mine. 1995 Tahoe LT 4x4 2 door Courtney lights work in the floor work, with the switch and when the door opens. Glove box light works. The rear and front dome light, as well as the...

    Lowering a 4x4

Coilovers are nice and all but that kit specifically says "This kit is primarily intended for plus or minus 3″ from stock height. To go lower (4-6″ drop) you will need to combine the coilovers with a drop spindle." And no one makes a drop spindle for the 4x4? So essentially it's de crank 3"...
