Using older (Pre 87) Heads / Intake with TBI adapter plate

It seems there are a lot more head and intake options pre 87, and there are adapter plates for the TBI. Is the bolt pattern for the later serpentine drive systems (1991 K1500 350) compatible with the older heads?? Is there anything else I'm missing here? Thanks for any info!

    Duct Tape Drags 'Build'

Just picked this 91 up to build for a low-buck drag and play truck... Working on fixing a leaking fuel line and brake line, then will see how it drives. As a bonus it's full of cactus underneath

    Jegs bandit efi kit

How does timing get controlled with using one of these? Change the distributor to a vac advance? Or is there some other way? This seems like a good upgrade for the money from a stock TBI? Mass flow, rather than speed density should be more accurate? No need to upgrade the throttle body...

1993 K1500 350 auto - 1/2 feel like they are slipping, OK in D... doesn't hold going downhill in 1/2

I'll start to search old threads too but any advice would be appreciated. I leave for hunting trip on Wed and this came up while out scouting today... 1/2 won't go up a hill... when on flat ground revs increase to 4-5K but vehicle speed might be only ~ 5-10 mph... When going down a hill in 1...

    1 wire to 3 wire O2 Sensor

After a few tanks through it I'm confident in saying that I've got about a 2 avg mpg increase from 12 to 14... a lot of my driving is ~25mph on dirt roads. I tapped into the fuel pump relay to power it.. I do have headers, upgraded Y pipe and 3" exhaust.

    1 wire to 3 wire O2 Sensor

PlayingwithTBI, that's the goal... the truck has short tube headers, mandrel bends, 3" single exhaust, big ass muffler... The current O2 is seized into the driver's side collector. I'm planning on moving it over to the other side just after the Y so it's measuring the average of both sides...

    1 wire to 3 wire O2 Sensor

I've heard of using a heated 3 wire O2 sensor in place of the 1 wire... any opinions on which one, or what to look for... or will anything they have in stock work since I'll be cutting off the plug and wiring it up anyway.
