So what about going with long tube headers and deleting the EGR and extending the O2 sensor lead to go over to the driver's side? Since that is where the O2 port is located on most of the LT headers I have found.

Thanks for the info. The exhaust manifold is there, and that convoluted metal tube might be there too. It's been about month or two since I really looked at it. Yes that intake is spendy but I got a sweet deal on the motor so it is balancing out. Ordering intake tomorrow, payday. It looks like...
