    Does anyone have a part number for the brake light relay on a 2000 k3500? Mine is missing. Rock Auto doesn't list one. Neither does any of the parts stores that I have checked except for Auto zone. Part number ACD D1741C. Just want to make sure before I order one.

    Ok. I fixed the turn signal problem. Removed the 2 scotchlocks that someone put in beneath cab connecting both sides of the turn signals together. Now I don't have rear brake lights( have center high mounted stop lamps). That should be easy enough to fix. Thank you for your assistance.

    Thank you for the information. I did look at the wiring diagrams and also the one in fsm , but could not find out which connector on the vcm was which and how the wires were numbered. I guess I need to study a little harder. Thank you again.

    I found that also and several other manufacturers list the same converter for both. I'm going to use it and see what happens.

    According to the chart, 6.2l TC is a low stall and the vanes point to the left. The 7.4l TC is a medium stall with vanes pointing to the right. According to that I need a new TC. Is this correct?

    I have a 2000 K3500 454 4l80e C.C. dually. Transmission has quit shifting. I purchased a used 4l80e out of a military humvee with 6.2l diesel. Every thing looks like a match. My question is will the torque converter from the diesel work with my 454?
