Upper control arm contacting frame (stop)

My guess would be at factory they set to the 1.3in. Then they adjust as needed to achieve the desired measurements at certain locations.

Upper control arm contacting frame (stop)

I think I read some where the factory Z height has 1.3 inches of thread showing on the adjuster bolt.?

    Plus Sized Grandpa

Thank you. It has come together quite nicely. Alot of fun along the way. Bought it Fall of 20 with 138k and fairly little rust. (Looked basically stock with some aftermarket wheels and oversized tires) I originally had the spacers installed on both sides. When looking at the inboard boot I...

That's the 4in. TC lift. 8 lug. The cv spacers were only needed on the passenger side. 1/2" total.

I ended up making custom links to counter for the lift/offset of bar mounting. I used 3/8 x 10 bolts and cut some 6" sleeves. Seems to be ok so far. No unnecessary stress on the bar bushings.

Coolant temp fluctuating up and down

Sorry guys forgot to post what my fix was. Silly me never inspected the condition of the temp sensor. Lots of build-up. Put in a new Delphi and now she warms up to about 195ish and stays steady.

I'll try this out. Did you just splice the line there for the bleeder valve then?

Coolant temp fluctuating up and down

The truck currently has the ac delco tstat from rock auto and looks just like the one pictured with the lower valve. The fluctuating is still present. And it is a 195 Stat. I recently had a start 195 in it with that lower valve and that one had the fluctuation as well. The stand I tested and it...

Coolant temp fluctuating up and down

I just watched it today and from a cold start it warms up to about 198-200ish. Then drops instantly to 158-160ish. Then warms to about 185 then drops to 160ish. It continues to rise to 185ish then drop to 160ish. Up and down. Up and down. Its slow though its not a fast change.

Yes those measurements were with a temp gun.

Coolant temp fluctuating up and down

I wonder if my bypass is clogged causing poor flow. Also Could my bypass even get clogged? Side question. If my heater core lines were reversed Could that cause poor flow?

Coolant temp fluctuating up and down

Another bit of information is that I'm finding about a 30°ish temp lose through the upper radiator hose. Then it drops another 30°ish through the radiator. Would one brand coolant retain heat better than another brand? Is that a thing lol

Coolant temp fluctuating up and down

So I'm thinking the kooler tstat is going to just allow more flow and not fix my temp fluctuation. When I've bleed the coolant I have been using that funnel I have also tried lifting the front end up. I've even used the cooling system vacuum filler tool and still no success.

Coolant temp fluctuating up and down

I'll try out the kooler I'll try this one. Fingers crossed. I tested the 195 stant and found that to open at 198 and close at 184. My guess is the 195 delco (currently in the truck) is doing the same thing.
