    My 5.0 blew up again third time and i herd if you swap in a 5.7 and use my 5.0 intake will everything work alright i know that the 5.7 needs 4 o2s.     Also has high flow cat and thrush welded exhaust. For exhaust want to do long tube headers into either 8 inch glass packs or keep the thrush welded and made it true duals and exit behind each tire at a 45.

    The 5.0 have 3 o2's and 5.7 has 4 o2's sensors. I thought the 5.7 had two cats?

    Did any one Ever switch from a 5.0 to a 5.7 I know I need the 5.7 wiring harness and computer and the 5.7 exhaust because the 5.7 has 2 cats the 5.0 has 1 cat. Is there anything different in the transmission? Also is there anything else I would need to change thanks for your help.

    I have a thrush welded on my truck it was cheap and sounds good. I just cut my old muffler out and welded that muffler in but you will need some more pipe because the thrush is shorter than the stock muffler.

    My trucks got a missfire when it warms up only after the thermostat opens it does it and only up to 2000rpm after that it is fine.
