flagstaff arizona, thanks for the manual pdf. sorry i was so slow to get the gears moving as to how this is done, i think i was exclusively searching videos specific to 97 c1500’s and got myself really confused in a youtube rabbit hole, but everything makes sense to me now :)

thank you for your response, my experience is pretty low. normally i figure things out as they go wrong through youtube, but i think that all the youtube videos either are showing 4wd gmt400s or are just replacing the entire hub assembly instead of just the bearings, and i’ve never replaced...

took my 97 chevy silverado c1500 in for an alignment and he told me my wheel bearings are loose, and they need to be fixed to get an alignment. am i able to replace just the bearings without having to purchase a new hub assembly? i’ve been scouring youtube and i can’t find a video/answer to...

I'm trying to figure out how to replace my ignition switch on my truck. I just replaced the starter and occasionally when i try and start the truck and turn the key, I hear the click but theres no effort to crank. After a few tries itll start right up, but earlier this morning the engine cut out...

88 chevy c1500 engine noise

my truck has developed an engine noise (at least it seems to be coming from the engine). It sort of sounds like a coin being shaken in a can. (link to video below). You mostly hear it towards the end of the video, but what could this be? is it a problem? the sound doesnt happen in park. only...
