    So i got a new better quality MAF installed. Engine is running better, and not nearly as rich. I installed the original CKP sensor just to trial it and it wasnt running as smooth so that was also an issue. I still need to get the solus pro again to relearn the CKP, hopefully that will clear that...

    Yes i had the rpm set at 1200, i think it will not let me because the MAF is still disconnected which is throwing codes. As soon as i reconnect the MAF it dies and does the same as before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    So its throwing some map sensor codes which ive expected, still throwing a 1336 ckp not learned, and is now throwing a p1345 ckp/cmp correlation problem. I tried relearning the ckp and it is not letting me. How do i go about dialing in the CMPRET and do a case relearn? Sent from my iPhone...

    The CMPRET is reading 0, but thats not to say it just isnt running long enough to show something else. The spark degree is reading 253, and i cant seem to find the camshaft position offset. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    From what i can read the CMPRET needs to be set with engine over 2k? My engine is running up to about 500rpm when it dies, and if i touch the throttle it dies as soon as i touch it. Not sure if it will even record any of those numbers within that short of time will it? I can check again in the...

    So I have a snap on solus pro in my possession but cannot complete a ckp relearn as the engine will not stay running. Its still only running for a few seconds and shutting off. The only code being thrown is the p1336. There is fuel and spark getting to the engine.. im so confused.

    Just tweaked the distributor a few different ways with no luck. Ill wait til wednesday to get my friends Snap On solus pro to do some relearns and see if that changes things.

    haha you are correct. There will be more pics posted eventually. Im in the middle of trying to get the truck running (my dodge died on me, no surprise there) as my daily and moving so im a bit busy now.

    the truck was running after the distributor was changed without codes. I may try the old computer in it tomorrow because it was replaced as a suspected fault but was t proven. I am borrowing a solus pro on wednesday to run some relearns on the system and will do that with the new computer.

    Very good, ill give this a try tomorrow. I haven't touched the distributor since it stopped running but thats not to say it wasn't nudged while doing other work. Thanks for your input, will post results.
