Ok so this may be a longer write up but I would like to get to the bottom of some things hopefully, I have done lots of research but the more I do the less conclusive it becomes... Again sorry for a long write up, I just want to make sure almost everything is thought of and bought/ fabbed up...

4l80e temp gauge through OBD scanner?

I have a 1993 k3500 with a 4l80E, I'm looking to install a temp gauge, I know the best place is in the pan but I don't want to drop that right now as I just had a flush and it's a real pain to drop mine. I would also rather not deal with one in the cooler lines as I can never get those to work...

    How to wire dual alternators.

I have a 93 k3500 that I'm putting dual alternators in. Now for the guys who are going to ask "why? Just get a big single" I have tried, I tried OEM, juiced up aftermarket, and had some built over the years. I just find when they get hot they have a hard time keeping up, then eventually burn...

    Help with ball-joints.

I'm having trouble finding lower ball joints for my 93k3500. Problem starts here. Not original LCA's I changed them when I did torsion bars a year ago. The "new" LCA's came from a 2000 obs (yes still gmt400 platform rare bird I guess?) K2500. Now I have had to search almost 6 months to find...

Can't load torsion bars too stiff or wrong?

Ok so for the last few weekends I have been trying to change the torsion bars in my 93 k3500, I was told go a set stiffer since these ones flattened out, and I have 2 plow harnesses, and Will be adding a heavy front bumper. And my plow is a heavy one. So I went from factory GL to XG bars. Due to...

    Torsion bar upgrade

I have a 1993 gmc k3500 and I'm looking to upgrade my torsion bars because they are already sagged out and sitting on the bump-stops and they are 3/4 the way cranked in. I don't want to go stock as I run 9'-3 western plow with wings, it weights around 1-1,100lbs. That's what sagged it out it use...
